Republican claims that much of the political left is totally unhinged is spot on. Further claims that the rhetoric of the leaders on that side has led to 2 assassination attempts on the former President also go without saying.
What about the weapon? While Republican leaders continue to insist (without any evidence at all) that the Constitution guarantees the right of any citizen to have an AR 15 or an AK 47 (above), violence of this kind, against leaders and children will continue.
I call on Republicans to do everything needed to keep President Trump safe. That includes banning these weapons of war.
